Hey look! Third gens can fly
I'm a second genner at heart I have a '79 Z28, so I don't hang out in the third gen section much, but at one time I did own a third gen. It was a fun 2 weeks unfortunately the car just could'nt take the physical demands I made of her. I have pictures comemorating her demise, hope the attachment works.

Am I the only one that gets a weird Dukes of Hazzard vibe from that picture?

That was jump #4 of 26 flights made over a weekend. Notice the lack of rear glass, that was a very spectacular jump#2. Believe it or not the jumps arent what killed the car, I let it idle to long with low oil press and the motor locked. Can't get more redneck than that. What else you gonna do with a free car that was given to you with a half tank of gas in it?

After that, it became the focal point of all our frustrations. It was hit with everything from a splittin maul to a 20ga. shot gun, a '78 mashasaurus, and finally the forklift. I have polaroids of a particularly frustrating day when we were putting a motor in another car that didn't want to go. I may have to get them scaned in so I can post them.
