Help please 90 Iroc fan won't go on
My 1990 Iroc overheated busted the lower hose. After replacing hose, coolant switch and thermostat still overheated. My buddy rigged up the fan so it would go on then no prob. How do I fix it so fan will go on by itself??
Thanks Bob
Thanks Bob
ECM looks at coolant temp sensor. when coolant gets to around 220, the ECM operates the fan relay, which in turn provides power to the fan. Make sure the fan relay works, and that the ECM grounds the relay control leads when the temp is high enough. Try to get a wiring diagram for your car.
