Help! My 91 RS is running hot.
[:@] I bought this car for a song $2500. I have had no problems with it until today. It's running hot. I am hoping someone can help me. I was looking to change a fuse possibly, but I don't know where to find the fuse box. And secondly I know the fan dosen't spin and that is a problem. Does anyone know how hard or easy it is to replace a fan motor? If someone can help I would gladly appreciate it. Thanks

changing a fan is relatively easy. i would also reccommend a 185* fan switch from jegs. Third gens are notorious for overheating.

fan motors are easy replace, i was having a problem with my 89 and it wasnt too hard to fix. since it is runnin hot right now make sure if you do have to drive it that all fluids are topped off, and make sure its an even mix antifreeze and water, too much of either can make it overheat quicker. my suggestion is also if you have an electronic fan to change the serpentine belt at the same time, never a bad thing to have new and itll save you hassle later on. if you dont have an electoric fan, look into one. not sure what the 91 came stock with.
