It wouldn't hurt to check the condition of your coolant either. If the coolant is crappy, there is even a possibility that somewhere has a clog, like in the heater core. And your car may not cool, or even heat up properly due to insufficient Antifreeze qualities (If theres is debree and crap in the coolant) The heater core is a hard job. If you don't know what your doing, don't attempt it. It requires taking the entire dash out of the car. As said, its a real pain.
