Default Headers? hmm

alright i have an 86 camaro with a 305 engine and a 4 barrel carb i want to put headers on it but it has an egr system. i guess that the little tubes that go into the exhaust manifolds is for the egr. which i dont think headers have the holes for the egr system. could any one give me advice on this cause i dont really want to get rid of the egr system. thanks

Just buy headers that are CARB approved and have air tubes.

That's not EGR, that's the AIR injection system. Just about any headers on the market offer them with AIR tubes.

Do you still have cat converters on the car? If not, the AIR system is totally useless.

are you required to get emissions testing where you live? if so, what type? chances are it wouldnt be worth the money to get the headers with the air tubes as they are generally another $150 more over regular headers.
