Default Headers

What up everybody? I am on my way to finishing my engine build. I am looking at different headers and am thinking about going with the flowtech headers. I am not putting any of the emmissions junk back on. I am not concerned about the A.I.R. tubes back on. I am looking for any advise on what you all have put onto you rides.
Thanks

nice finally got some headers. well you may already know but unless you want your exhaust pipes draggin on the ground, there is no room for true duals. but, i am also at the stage you are at. im trying to find some good headers. i wonder if i could run dual 3 inch exhaust pipes right next to each other the whole way. well, good luck.

some suggestions are either stick with the original y pipe design using a larger center tube, running the pipes next to each other can work as long as you have either a good exhaust guy or you are good at it yourself. as the the length the headers i have are considered full length for a gen 3 camaro and they fit well enough. just make sure to pay attention to how you lay your exhaust out.

We stayed with our single pipe on ours (for legality reasons and we didn't want the pipes hitting anything), and we went with Edelbrock headers. They fit perfectly. We then had to make a custom pipe that runs from our free-flow cat (2-1/4") to our new Edelbrock 3" exhaust. All in all a good setup. Sounds stock at low RPMs but loud at higher RPMs.

On a side note, we just finished installing Stainless Works LTs on my dad's GTO and they sound great. If you can find any of the SW headers that will fit, I would also recommend those.
