ok i went to look at a 92 camaro RS 5.0 auto t-tops he wants 1200 for it and it has about 168000 miles and i dont think the engines gonna run for much longer the oil pressure gauge was at 60 and i checked that oil and it was under the line so he didnt have to much oil it to make it go that high and stuff like that but i if i buy this car i plan on getting a new tranny and building a 383 for it is 1200 to much for this car

 

I paid 2500 for a 91 with high miles. I compared and the one I got was one owner and he took it for service to a GM specialist. It was well taken care of.
60 is where you want it on oil pressure. If the oil level is at the add mark it is only a quart low and that will not affect oil pressure. Just look it over well. Does it run good, shift well, interior,exterior, drive straight. That kind of stuff. If its a good car I think its worth 1200. Look on autotrader.com and see what others are going for near you.
