have a question about my 92 RS

none of the gauges work except for the gas gauge and speedometer. odometer doesn't work.

would that be an indication of the dash cluster being bad or what things could I look for? Thanks.

Could be, when do they not work?
Only in daytime? - heat from the interior with closed windows?
All the time? Could be a cold solder joint due to temperature cycling - read above.
