I have an 87' RS...its a V6 and it has a small engine skip when i first "get on it". It sounds ok....but i want it to sound better, and perform better. I dont wanna spend more than 500 bucks yet...but i wanna know what i should do to make my car faster, and louder. Thanks for the help

 

summit racing carries a four barrel intake for 2.8's as well as headers. you could possibly get both and maybe a used 450 CFM holley from ebay for $500. but i must tell you ... your never gonna get what you want out of the 2.8. the carb and headers will give it more pep but a 2.8 just doesn't have enough cubic inches to make any major horsepower. if your really serious about wanting to generate some HP from your V-6, the only other reasonable option would be nitrous oxide. you can get a kit for about $300. sick
