Default goodbye to my camaro

well, i am selling my camaro. it's been a lot of fun but when a cavalier was faster than my 305 tbi i said that's enough. i am buying this now. it's got the factory option performance slp exhaust so it's got 310 hp. put a slp intake and get it tuned and i'll double my horsepower from 170.

yeah, i could care less how fast a cavalier is. one with 700 hp i wouldn't buy. but when it beat me i realized that my car was SLOW. although the 96 ss will never have the looks of a 3rd gen, it can be close with some nice touches.

if only my car was as fast as it looks.

It's easy to get sucked into the "fast enough isn't fast enough" mindset. What are you going to buy next after someone smokes your new car? And I second your looks comment. IMO, the 4th Gens are nice (I've had two) but I don't see them as being anything "unique" unless you have a rare optioned one.
That reminds me, it's time for me to put some more go-fast goodies on the '69. A jet plane just passed me yesterday!!

i'll be plenty happy with 310 hp. it wasn't the getting beat part, because we didn't race. he pulled up next to me on the highway and he flew by me. i tried to catch up but there was no chance. the bigger reason is because i want a standard car. also, i've had this for a couple years and i want something new. the fun part is making it your own which i have done. once there is nothing to do but drive it, it gets kinda boring.

wow nice 3rd gen man i really think you should think about this that 3rd gen looks cooler and can be just as fast as that 4th gen, save that 6 grand and get a GM crate motor and some other go fast goodies and a shift kit for the tranny. and no cavalier is going to beat you inless they have like 30 grand under the hood. so keep the IROC and just put some go fast goodies on it.

believe it or not, i will be have cash left over after the deal. 2 people are interested in my car for 7000 and this one is listed for 6500. that leaves me money for some nice ad ons.

but yes, 3rd gens are much nicer. but i just want something different. i'm a kid and i'm antsy. what can i say.
