Default Getting a 1991 camaro engine rebuilt

Alright, so i have an oppurtunity to get a 91 camaro rs with a new transmission but the engines got 187,000 miles on it. I dont plan on pushing it much further, so would it be best to get the engine rebuilt? I dont really have the time or drive to do it myself, so if i decided to go this route, how much should i expect to pay?

There is nothing wrong with 187k as long as it was taking care of. I have 194 on mine and it was well taken care of. There are people on here with more.
If you do decide to rebuild. Check your local engine builders. We can have no idea what a shop in your area charges. Do you have the 5.0 or 3.1?
