i repeat, get your money back and walk, save up some cash and buy a different rear end. two reasons for you to buy a new one. 1. you know exactly what your getting and 2. it will be stronger than stock and brand new, no issues, and will probably have a warranty
good call.

I guess Ill find out on Tuesday. If he doesnt come thru with a 3.73, Illtell him I want my money back. He was quick to give me 1/2 back today, so I hope this deal is salvagable.

Good thing I didnt start tearing my car apart yet!

If you get a 3:73 limited slip rear from these guys I will be totally surprised. Good luck in your quest for this limited production rear. Another 2:73 rear will show up.

But 2.73's are faster dontcha know [:-]

Yer right, I know its gonna be wrong, but I guess Ill find out Tuesday.

Holy crap. He just called me and said he has a 86 Firebird 3/73 posi with disk brakes. Is it gonna fit?

There were 86 Firebirds with a 3:73 ratio so he correct on that item. Again Do Not take his word at face value and use that stamped ratio and picture of the Limited Slip to go by.Yes, that rear will fit with no major problem,the same 10-bolt were used on both the Camaro/Firebirds. The early disc brakes were the pits and I hopeyou can get them to work. Good Luck
