Default Gauge cluster removal

How the hell do you get that damn gauge cluster out of the dash!? I have all the bolts out but it wont come out far enough for me to undo that speedometer cable.

Its been a while since I last pulled mine, but I do remember the speedo connector being a pain.

If I remember right, I had to tilt my steering wheel all the way down, then wiggled it around to get the right side out as far as I could and disconnected all the connectors I could reach. Then I could pull the right side of it out just far enough to get my hand in behind to squeeze the speedo connector and it immediately popped off.

Good luck. Its an equal pain getting it back on if I remember right...

Been there.....

Put LEDs in, looked way cool, till I tried to dim them....

they went High - Mid - Off.

No low / dim. Took em out cause it made it hard to see out on the dark country roads out where I live.

Good luck.
