Hey how is everyone? Ok well I have a 92 RS 25th anniversary and I JUST replaced the fuel pump in it. When I bought the car the gas gauge would act real weird like when the gas in the tank got down to 1/4 tank the gas gauge will shoot up to full.....then if you keep driving the car the gas gauge will then go back and forth to empty and to full until the car is eventually on empty and it's done that a few times before and left me walking to a gas station to get gas....I was wondering has anyone had that problem? And if so how do you fix it? It's extremly frustraiting seeing is how it's getting worse when I fill up to full it will bounce back from half a tank to full alot. Thanks for your guys time.

When you replace the fuel pump you should have checked the sender at the same time if it was doing it then. If it was not doing it then and started after you worked on it go over what you did first. Maybe left a connection loose or the signal wire is grounding. With a full ground, no resitance, the fuel gauge will go to full.
