fuel pump relay location
Please help, I have an 88 camaro 2.8 V6. Can anyone tell me the location and description of the fuel pump relay? My Haynes repair manual doesn't show its location. Also, is it normal for the fuel pump to run a few seconds after the engine is turned off? Thanks

RE: fuel pump relay location
The relay shold be in the fuse box in the engine compartment. The location should be shown inside the cover of the box. Otherwise, open the hood, have some one put the ignition key to the on position and listen for the relay click on & off.

Sick, I belive you are right. I haven't messed with a third gen in quite a while, and I just assumed they were set up just like the 4th gen. And Sewerrat, sorry to lead you down the garden path.

no probs Pete, I actually found the relay using your suggestion. later I did find its location in the Haynes after reading better. And Sick and Camkid your right, it's on the drivers firewall next to the fan relay. Thanks again gents.
