Picture is from a TPI car, but since GM dose not change anything it should be at this location even for TBI. At least you will know what it looks like.

checked the relay, the fuse thats next next to the battery, all the other fuses, and the pump still doesnt want to turn on when i turn on the electricity in the car? I changed it last year, i dont see how it could have gone bad so soon? Can someone help me figure out what can be wrong if its not the fuel pump?

Assuming you can't here the pump when you turn on the key

Try jacking up the rear of the car and checking for power at the fuel pump wireing harness. (located right above the rear U-joint)

Pull the plug and find 3 wire ends.Get a voltage meter and stick your probes into the first and third one. If your getting voltage when the key is on (I think it should be 11 volts) then your pump is bad.

I think then you have to start checking things upstream. Like the relay and the fuseable link by the battery

ive already ruled them out, the relay send power out like it supposed to, and theres power running threw the fuse like normal.so its some where between that and the pump

yup, theres something a miss between the relay and the fuel pump. I changed my fuel pump last year, i just dont see how it could have gone bad, but when i checked the relay the wires were a bit loose, but still doesnt explain it how it did a sputtering deal the last time i drove it. I think im just gonna take it to a mechanic
