fuel pressure regulator
mine MUST be either broken, or just plain not there... Where are these things supposed to be on the TBI motors? ill start there then look elsewhere on the fuel line, cause im sure its not where its supposed to be.
something i noticed, just at an idel, i can SEE the fuel being injected, its almost like the unit is being told we are going down the road, but its NOT burning it, cause i have raw fuel comming out of the tail pipe. Not a lot, but its enough to gather and make the tips look wet. so it needs to be looked at. Im thinkin about new plugs and wires anyway, since they very well may be shot now.

im not 100% sure where yours is as moth my camaros were fuel injected, but i know on my tbi blazer its mounted right with the tbi unit itself, its actually built into it or connected too it i cant rember off the top of my head but its right at the back of it, maybe yours was lost when the engine was swapped. also it looks nothing like the aftermarket ones, its just like a little black box type thing.
yea, if its tbi, it will be somewhere in the unit. i had mine go bad on my tpi, the thing just got stuck wide open. i didnt see anything mechanicly wrong with it other than a bit of dirt on it, it just didnt feel like working.
Be careful with the fuel running out the hind end. You are more than likely washing down the cylinder walls with every pulse. Don't forget to change the oil, the gas that isnt going out the tailpipe is going in the oil pan, your bearings wont like this either.
i cant untill i got a daily driver... i may be 19 but i still live at home, i kinda gotta listen to the rents still... but thats fine, chances are the carb and cam switch is gona kill the gas mileage anyway
im not WORRIED about it so much as i cant afford it... the thing already gets around 10 or 12 in the city. I just want something else to drive before i do anything major for those just in case situations as well. I really hate driving my car in the rain, and i refuse to drive it in the snow.
