Fuel gauge

Default Fuel gauge

Is their anyway to fix my really bad floating gas gauge.

As in it likes to bounce when you hit a bump? Some units have an anti slosh mechanism built in which just puts resistance on the needle so it doesn't move as quickly.

no it likes to add fuel when i hit the gas and take it away when i brake. I never truly know how much fuel i got.

lmao like jr said some have an anti slosh mechanism in the gauge, so it helps it not go up and down. other than that check your gas when you first start it and you are sitting on a level surface.

dont let your foot off the gas. does it do it when full?

Mine does that too...but mine also reads three quarters when its actually full lol

mine does that too and when it is showing empty it still has 5 gallons of gas i think. what size tank came in the v6 models. Or is it the same as the v8. If i put a new sending unit in this car would it fix the problem.
