Well the 350 version of the Iroc is the best 3rd gen IMO. Is it a T-top car? T-tops leak and they car rust out the floors and like a first gen it can spread to the frame rails. You really want to understand the rust and get an idea on what it will take to fix it right. Unlike a first gen the cost of getting a high miles rust damaged back to a solid, dependable, nice looking car and easily exceed the value of the car. By todays standards its not going to be a fast car. There are some known issues like the rear frame rails and the intake gasket but on a but on a 35 year old car how the car has been maintained will determine value. Heck if its a cheery low miles 87 and the only thing is wrong is it need floors and frame rails I would be all over that. Same car that is all worn out and had poor maintenance may be a parts car not worth saving.

After saying all that I would be temped at $1700 if we where just talking floors and the engine/trans seemed good enough to last awhile. But also keep in mind depending on your skill level you could buy a V6 and for an LS swap and hit 400 hp and 24 MPG.

Prices are all over the map (literally prices vary a lot depending on location) on 3rd gens but that sounds pretty fair if it runs and isn't a total rust bucket.
The late IROC Z with the factory 350 is the most desireable of the 3rd gen cars,do you know if it's a numbers matching original car?
