First Camaro and car ! 1986 z28 what do you guys think
Hey guys just got my first car 1986 camaro z28 v8 automatic. IM from long island new york Just wanted some suggestions on what i can do to make it better just recently started getting into cars I am 16 saved my money from summer job and bought this camaro for 3,000 has 76,000 miles runs great (at least from what i know) some of my gagues go out of wack but other then that i fell everything is good. it woul be awesome if yah Let me know if you know any restoration places that specializes in older camaros or old muscle cars I would love to keep my car as original as possible because thats what i love and if u know any shops i can probably work at at my age. IM NOT LIKE THOSE OTHER TEENAGERS! to ruin a car and also lol no honda civic for me. THANKS !!!

WE NEED PICS!!!!!!!!!! we would like to see your new purchase.
as to a shop i have no clue becasue i dont know where your from. but the 3rd gens are the unloved gen to most people. they are great cars. i also dont know really of any parts places that are making parts for them yet. they havent caught on like a first or second gen car.

there we go. I went in and added the photos for you. Nice ride! I had a 1985 Z28 (hence my username) that looked very similar. Mine had the body color gfx, and the stripe along the bottom was orange black and grey, i also had gold wheels.

Good luck. Not a fast car, but handles great. Rides great too. First thing you want to do is an SLP full exhaust....long tube headers to start, cat back for sure, and a hi flow cat. Then a stage 1 or 2 chip, then some head and cam work would be next.
