Ha! The Camarogawds have FINALLY deemed me worthy! Tonight I decided to replace my front stuts. The car was bouncing in every direction and the steering wheel felt like it wasnt even connected to the wheels sometimes. The first strut came out with the only complication being a lot of grunting and MAPP gas applied to the bolts. The second strut was a little harder to get out, ( snapped a socket and breaker bar, but that $hit happens) but still easy enough. I took her for a test drive and MAN it actually handles like a sports car now! No more shimmy thru turns, no more diving front end when I hit the brakes. I think the stars alligned today!

But your tush feels almost as good as my own! LOL
It is amazing how something can feel when you replace it with a new part. (not talking about butts now. Back to struts). People get used to the gradual wear and tear and don't notivce to difference from when it was new until you replace it and its like WOW a new car again.

my back struts and LCA's were easy as crap. the fronts were a nightmare. the nut was rusted to the strut bolt and stuck in the A arm. we had to cut it out using an angle grinder and drill the rest out by going small, then slowly increasing bit size till we got all the bolt and only nut was left. it sucked

As long as you don't go prancing around using the word "gay" we'll let you slide by.
