Default It Finally Grenaded!!

Wow I bought my 86 Iroc 305 tpi with 97,000 km on it in 91. I abused the living **** out of that little engine until last week when I gunned her out of my driveway and snapped the crank clean in two. she dies finally at 442,300 km's. I just hope the big block im going to try and jam under the hood will take as much abuse. Which brings up a question i can get a 572 for 12,500 canadian... will that bastard even fit between the wells or do you figure ill have to chop em out hahaha

'bout 275000.

That's a good amount for a 305. It doesn't take much to get a 350 to that, but from what I've read most 305s die out around the 200K mark. but I don't own one, or pretend to know much about them. So if I'm off by a hundred grand or so, just let me know. haha

305 or 350, just a different bore. Either one will last a long time as long as it taken care of.

Ya, if you manage to get a 572 in there i wanna see pictures lol. Not to bust ***** or anything, but i'm not sure it will fit, i've heard of prolbelms like the struts and things getting in the way. If you are somehow able to get it in, you probably wont have air conditioning. i got a 350 TPI out of a 1991 z28 if your interested, good motor, but no where near the power of a 572 lol
