i've just been told that it's gonna be cleared at king collision. the guy knows my dad and is only gonna charge him 65 bucks. we already have the clear.

paint and other materialshas costed us about 150 bucks. this stuff isn't cheap.

it turns out that the run my unclemade when spraying was toothick to simply sand out. you could see it after hours of wetsanding still. so we decided to strip the entire thing, and now we're bringing it to a body shop to spray it right. not a bad price, 75 bucks to reshoot the black metallic. when it comes back, my dad and i will mask off the hood, and redo the silver stripe. this has turned into a nightmare!!!

Sorry chief but whens she's done you'll be very happy. As far as the holes in the hood I would color them black. But that's my opinion. Can't wait till see the end product. Keep us posted

Says the guy with the IROC hood on his Z28 . . . lol just kidding

I like the idea.I like the use of accent colors to set off the black, rather than just putting big, thick racing stripes on it. It's different, and well executed!

thanks. i thought the sides silver rather than bold rally stripes would look better. plus the stripes wouldn't have went with the contour of the hood.

btw-86 z28's had the iroc style hood. but nice try at getting him back.
