Default falling sun visors

The visor on our 1991 RS keeps falling toward the winshield. I seems like the pivot rod that goes into the roof is worn loose.

Anyone found a solution out there?

I also have a 91 RS ... well when I used to drive it .... my visor on the driver's side would always come down by itself. This is very aggrivating especially on a bumpy road

I too would like to know how to fix this aggrivating problem.

A gallon of gas tends to fix interior problems nicely.

omg on my 90 RS it bothers me soooo much!

a friend told me to get some velcro to match the headliner color and sew or glue it on im thinking about doing it with a really thin thread so if i pull it out it wont leave noticable holes.
has anyone ever tried this before?

Well you can alway order new, but I chose to repair mine. In my case the hardboardinside the visor broke at the pivot. There is a clip riveted to the hardboard that suppose to hold the pivot shaft tight. Since the clip broke off the board there was nothing to keepthe clamping force to the shaft. I simply cut an exact pattern out of 1/4" panel board and re-riveted the clamp back on. I then took the pair to an upholstery shop to recover.
