Default Factory roller cam?

Can any one confirm that the 90 305 TBI in my car will have a factory roller cam? I know in 87 the V8's started getting roller cams but I don't know if they were only installed in the TPI or what.
I had to change my water pump and was looking at the timing cover and it looks as if its never been touched. My 84 had way less miles when I installed a timing set and its stock chain was whooped. While looking up timing chain sets at Summit they will say "not for use with factory roller cam". Maybe due to a retaing plate.

If no one replies to your question, you can remove one of your v/covers and peek down the pushrod. If it's roller you'll see the dog bones. I bet you probably installed those reusable felpro gaskets huh?

I thought about looking through there also but was not sure if I could see enough. And as for installing anything, other than mantanance, a water pump, ignition lock and a fuel pump I have done nothing pretty close to nothing else. Soooo it may get valve cover gaskets also.

GM went to roller lifters on all the small block versionswith the 1987 model year.Stock roller liftersare kept from rotating in the lifter bore by milled flats that fit into valve lifter guides, and guide retainers (spider). Retrofit roller lifters are linked in pairs with a bar to prevent rotation.

Well that is about the same info I got. I was just hoping for a confirmation like some one saying "yeah I saw mine has one when I changed my intake gaskets".
So I am just gonna go with it has a roller cam and if it does not I am gonna blame you Pete!

Ah ha! Thank you sir. Usualy I look up things on summit but some times they give you choices either way. Like for the timing chain.
It looks like Pete won't be getting that flaming poo in his email after all.
