Okay I see the term quite a few times but don't know the generation it reffers to.

What generation is the F-Body Camaro?

It has nothing to do with generation. The Camaro, and it's cousin the Firebird, are F-Body cars.

well how come after 1974 dodge changed the chargers platform from B-body to a chrysler cordoba based car? does that mean it wasnt a charger nemore?

All Cordobas and Magnums as well as the later Chargers, Furys, 300s ect 1975-1979are B-bodies.
