While studying abroad in Europe, ive come across a 88' camaro shell for dirt cheap, and im really tempted to buy it. If i was back in MN finding a engine wouldnt be a problem. Here in romania though taxes for engine above 3.0 are insanely high so a v8 is out of the question. Ive tried looking for the 2.8 V6 but no luck. I was wondering what other engines i could fit into it, maybe a BMW 2.5 straight 6 since there seems to be a ton of those around....

With enough time and money, anything is possible. However, those former Comm Bloc mechanics are VERY crafty, and if there was a feasible way to do it, Im sure they would have already seized the opportunity.

Dont get near this one bub..it will be a black hole of custom mods and reverse engineered parts. All the black market parts in Romania wont get this one running again.
