Default Engine Frustrations

Well, my'83 Camaro TBIhas been progressively leaking more and moreoil for the past year now. I took it in and it's leakingin 3 different places and the rings are shot. Every shop I've taken it to said im better off rebuilding my 305 but I would like to get a 350 put in.One shop said that they'd put the engine I wanted in, if I could find one myself. So I've been seaching around for months now, but I just realized I have no idea what im doing. I think my best bet now is to bid on one on Ebay, butI have no idea what will or will not fit in my car. Im only 18 and have very basic car knowledge. I really don't know what to do...

If you're looking for a nice Engine check here

They do good work. Its where I got my 383 from. They're pretty cheap too

I understand. BUT... I bought mine from their ebay store. And doing so I got free shipping. Although it was a Preformance 383... not a bone stock 350.... I'd still call them and talk they're pretty cool

"All prices listed are with exchange of like-for-like, rebuildable engine." I don't have a 350 to exchange with them though. Mines a 305.
