Default driveshaft

ive got a 89 rs lt1 carb swaped in to it with th400 short tail and ive test dove it for the first couple times and i get a vibration around 30 mph and it sort of dies out around 75ish but is still there same wheels that were on it before the swap so i dont think its them anyway to check to see if driveshaft is out of balance i used a dial indicator on it and in the middle of the shaft it moves out to .136 thousands am i going about this the right way?

You found your problem with the excess runout of the dr shaft. .136 is way too much runtout, it your be around .010 T.I.R.

You have a dial indicator...So mark a point on the shaft and Zero the indictor, now rotate the shaft 360 deg and your runout is the toal on the indicator T.I.R. My opinion is it should be around .010 T.I.R.

Have the drive shaft checked for run out, balance, and straightness. If any of those are out of limits, it will vibrate.
