I'd had a look at it yesterday the best I could tell I was going to have to take off a bunch of things just to get at it- ehh, but I'll have another look at it tomorrow morning.

 

where the upper heater hose goes into the intake, take that off, that metal "bulb" looking thing, take the 2 bolts off that, then you'll see the T stat... its a 20 min job max...

 

In the TPI, it looks like the throttle body is in the way, but just remove the bolts, and then you can slide it out. You dont need to remove anything else...

 

Well. Then tomorrow morning I'll get that taken care of... and I'll plan to make a visit to the Camaro & Firebird dealer to see what I can do about the dashboard and the doorframe

 

Your talking about david t's right?? He IS the biggest Camaro/Transam dealer in North america, but his prices are stupid. I dont like that guy, he's a *****. If you meet him, dont wear any colonge or anything, his alergies are sooooo bad..... He will just walk away and not even talk to you... Call Sammy at MR. DETAIL in Calgary, tell him John G from southgate chev sent you, he can get you anything. hes a good guy...

lol... Im not in calgary right now... Out in Regina for a bit... So I dont know... Taking vacation. Go to Classic Performance in edmonton, They will also be able to get you anything, for WAY cheaper than David can.
