I have just had so many problems with the American cars I have owned. I have had 3. A 1990 RS camaro, dodge ram 1500, alero. But my Subaru has yet to die on me or leave me hanging. Just form my experience my friends Honda, and the rest of my friends Subaru's have out lasted all my other cars. I take care of them. flush the coolant, change oil, water pump, battery, spark plugs, head gasket, belt, and even changed the whole rear end on my truck. I want to hang out with my friends before I go to basic training not fix my cars.

Bottom line is, you havent baught the cars new so you can't solely blame the car/company. BTW Subaru originated form Japan hense the stereo typical term ricer.

Yes, I would consider Subaru "rice" as well. They're made in Japan and they are equipped with little inline fours.

Yes but do to the fact that Subaru engines are horizontally opposed they do not sound like ricers. Now honda civics and 3000Gts those are ricers.

How about that tiny little 2.5L with a turbo that puts out 300HP goes 0-60 in 4.7 sec and blows the doors off of the "great" V8s like the 5.7L v8. That car will damn near beat the new camaro.
