Hey does anyone know if the 3rd gen dash pad from a firebird is the same as in a 3rd gen camaro? I found a firebird one for sale and it looks exactly like the camaro ones. What is different if there is anything? Thanks!

 

ive looked mine over and looked a friend of mines' pad over and they look close but no cookie. at least as far as design. however they MAY fit the same. i dont know if they changed fitting from 90+ or not though.

 

From my brother's 83 T/A into his 84 Camaro, it was a no go. If I remember correctly, it had something to do with the way the dash met the windshield or something... It's been awhile.

 

Gotcha, just looked the same online. T/A pads are easier to find is all... Thanks for the input.

 

The firebird pad from an 88 was too short to reach my winshield in my 86 Z28.

 

They are not the same.
