Default Coolant bursted out but no visible leaks

About a few months ago I got a new radiator put in, everything seemed to be ok had it topped off and burped. now I finally got the car from a friends house to my house yesterday and everything was still fine. But today I went to drive around see if theres any issues and went great till i was on my way back home. All i saw was white smoke in the back and under the hood pulled over and cut the car off and all over the road and u can smell was coolant. the temp gauge went right to the red line when this happen. before it did it it was right in the middle at 220. which is where it was at yesterday also. I clean everything from under the hood cause it sprayed everywhere and tried to see where this leak was but havent found anything. no leakes from the piping I pulled them off and ran it under a sink, and the radiator doesnt leak as well. any ideas what can cause this to happen?

The thermostat might have stuck closed and blew coolant out of a worn out radiator cap. Just throwing it out there.

Try a new radiator cap with the right poundage for your car and we can go from there.

It should say on the top of the cap what the poundage is but just in case someone put the wrong cap on I would have them check at the parts store what poundage it should be.

I am pretty sure that is your heater control.
