Confirm Id of tire changing jack
Hi, I'm usually over at the 4th generation forum since I have a 94 V6. Cleaning out my basement I came across a tire changing jack setup that I found setting along the street during our town's "bulk trash" disposal week some years ago. I've always wondered what vehicle this jack was installed in and *doh* it just occurred to me that I could type the part number into google.
Well it seems that someone on ebay has one for sale and it is IDed as fitting an 82-92 Camaro or Firebird. Someone please confirm that the one I have is, indeed, from a 3rd generation F-car.
I have the jack (stamped 14092121 under the caution label) as well as the hold-down wingbolt, a long double hex extension, and a flat ratcheting wrench having a center cap pry tip at the end. The ratcheting thing is stamped 10078348.
The whole thing is in such nice shape I can't bear to scrap it. Probably why my garage is packed with this type of found stuff...
If I can positively ID it I guess I'll ebay it.
