Default computer question

ok its an 84 z 305 HO and stock. this weekend I would like to pull the air pump and tubes and plug the airtube holes with plugs. and all the ac stuff as well. am I going to have issues with the puter? should I disconnect the electrical at the carb? or any other issues am not aware of? the air tubes are junk. I do not have any concerns with emmisions here in ohio and the cat is still there as are the oxy sensers. also the puter has a hyper chip installed.

you would probably need to tune out the air pump. the a/c wont be an issue

You won't have any problems if you pull the smog pump stuff. It doesn't affect the runnability of the engine, it won't affect the computer, and no SES light.

I pulled the ac and smogpump, as well as all the air tubes and plugged the inlet holes at the manifold, as well as about 4 ft of vacuum line. also found a vacuum leak from a line that ran under the ac. I probubly never would have found it. so needless to say its quieter ( the air tubes were shot) and it runs better with the vacuum leak fixed, and no check engine lite. thanks
