Default cleaning up the engine bay

i was thinking about cleaning up the bay a bit today. im gona ditch the washer fluid tank. get the smaller ls1 booster. and id like to hide the coolant overflow tank.. but where can i put it? i think i have heard of people using the ls1 coolant overflow since it hides it under the battery. but have any of you?

I don't think I've seen anyone on here do that. I like the idea of replacing the stock tank though, they're huge and look like crap when they age. Jegs has tons of universal ones (http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...10127_-1_10109), but I don't see any that you could hide under the battery. Personally I dont really like the idea of getting rid of the washer fluid tank, but I don't know how much you would use it anyways. In the Ohio winters, I use the washer fluid/de icer all the time.

I'm trying to remember which of the many vehicles I dismantled that had a w/w res. going into the fender apron. I think it was either the 84 mustang or the 87. It was kinda skinny and only the fill cap came up through the inner fender.

well this is gona be a nice days only car. so ill NEVER use that thing anymore. If it were up to me, i would go carb. ditch the AC and heater blend in a nice cover for all that. go to a manual steering and get rid of anything that isnt necessary under that hood. im even thinking about moving the battery to the back.. lol

If you want to spend a little bit more you can't go wrong with a billet coolant overflow tank and clear tubing.

What do you mean if it were up to you? Its your car, lol. I say go carb, ditch the AC (heat is always a good thing to have), then keep power steering and brakes. Basically what I did. Actually, thats exactly what I did, lol.
