Its all about the market.. None of us can predict it. Though there are plenty of cars that are considered classics but still sell for dirt. Cars are like women.. She is a classic beauty if you can look at her for hours and not want to look away. I could stare at a nice third gen four hours.. Classic.

Some are becoming collectible already, such as the convertibles. I do think it will behard to move them into the same "collectible" status/money as the 1st or 2nd gen's though.

i agree. but thats how every car is. You never know, this car could be worth double what it was new in 20 or 30 years, or it could be worth 20 cents. You just gotta watch the market at tacos said.
