Yes they are that much for new. Ask Scottd how much he was quoted on a pair. And while you are at it he could use the grilles out of yours

 

I have a set off a 86 Z-28 paid 5 bucks for em, at pull-a-part had the full grill too for a 91 rs but gave it away.And Mike and Scott nice to see you guys getting along, I'll dig em up tomorrow and take a pic of them, and whoever needs them, just pay the shipping and you can have them, have other misc parts too, that im looking too toss, or give away.

 

Oh Scott and I get along. I just like giving him the Biz. He leaves himself so wide open for it I can't resist
And he needs grills for an 82-84 only. The 86 had a totaly different style.

Never received your PM scott. And, are you sure that all 4 corners are squared off and no rounded corners? Because I pulled these off of a z28 and they each have one rounded corner. I can try to post pics later tonight if you would like. I can also post dimensions if that will help.

holy crap as I live and breath those are the parts I need! Scrounger, Im gonna try and email you again. Ill be on the road for the next two days but Im really interested in taking those old, diry parts from you so you can free up some much needed space

Message replied. They are a little dirty, but shold clean up nicely. They also have the screws and nut clips to install them in case you lost yours.
