so while im driving my service engine light will just come on for a few minutes then turn off then come back on later... i have an 89 camaro 305 TBI, any ideas of what could be triggering the light?

 

none. check the codes. Turn the key to ON but do not start the car. Find your diagnosticlinkunder the drivers side dash.then with a paper clip or something jump the upper right two terminals, A and B. Watch the light flash and it will tell you the code, first it will flash code 12 three times. One flash, a pause, then two more flashes. Like i said it will do that 3 times, then the next code. Just watch, count, and write them down, could have several.
