Default To buy a dual conveter assm...

Right now i have a dual conv. assembly on my car but it is a y pipe. i am looking to do a custom tru dual exhaust withClassic Chambered Powersticks.ive searched pretty much 3/4 of theentireinternet, but maybe someone knows where to find a dual high flow catalytic converter head pipe assembly like the one shown below on the left in the pic. I was hoping not to have to do any (much) custom welding and shopping,so i could buy it al;l together and install.

what tdo you mean, its the metallic assembly on the left. the on on the right is a wierd looking Y-pipe with a single catalytic convertor. The left would be called a y-pipe but they don't cross so, correct me if im wrong but i think they are called head pipes?
anyways

highflow cats are everywhere... i dont think anybody fully understands what your asking, lemme give it a stab here. You want two new cats that are both highflow? then your going to put on your own exhaust after the cat right?

man i didnt realize. i want to buy an assembly exactly like the one pictured, to allow for true dual exhaust all the way.. the one i current ly have is similar but its the factory cats and they merge into one. so it is a Y-pipe. the one picture doesnt merge so its not called a y pipe. i cant find an assm like the one pictured but i have seen it on camaros before and was wondering if it is something that can be purchased or if it has to be made?
thanks and sorry i was unclear

ok i know what you are trying to do....i think the stock cats are fine, the dual cat option was said to be a big improvement over the single. Dynomax makes a true dual exhaust . you can order it form jegs..the part # is 289-89009(143.99), then you need 2 mufflers part # 289-17731 for super turbo mufflers(39.99 each) or part # 289-17282 for ultra flo mufflers(106.99 each) the system is designed to fit from the headers back but you can cut the pipes to meet where the converts are.

ive often wondered... when doing a true dual, there are two mufflers. Where do you put them at on these cars? wouldnt they be sticking way down and get in the way? or is there some special low pro, or just a flat out small muffler that ya use?
