i won't have to worry about clearance because i have the turbo hood. and also i betthe spacer wouldmake a big difference on my motor because it is so weak. anything of that nature would probably make the flow much better.

and 92camaroRS i'm not being a ****. you're being a ****. you were so pumped at this setup and now cuz your getting a 350 its crap. and furthermore for 350rs to say that the chip and the intake will make a difference is enough for me. he obviously knows what he is talking about from reading his past posts.

and z28pete i know that heads would be a very difficult job. i'm saying it's "easy"
meaning that its stuff that can be done without pulling the motor or stuff of that difficulty.

ahh yes i forgot about your hood being the way it is... well let me know what kind of power gains ya get out of that spacer still. Even if its noticeable with a 305, should bea lil bet more noticeable for my 350. I would think...

the TB spacer im iffy about, but a chipped car is almost a must if you have heads and whatnot, to get full benifit out of them.

BUT, if your buying the chip just to take the speed limiter off... there is about a 2 dollar fix for that if thats all you want.

http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/car/344788970.html

here's the link.

the spacer comes with the throttle body as an extra. so if it does nothing it's no loss. the throttle body gives 20 hp with a stock motor, and 50-100 on a motor with cam and head work. the chip would be for the speed limiter and performance. it maximizes the performance you can safely get out of the engine. it gives it more hp at high rpm when normally it dies out.

maybe I've jumped the gun here...can you tune 3rd gens?

If so, tuning > chips
