Hey guys im new this is a pretty cool site i own a 87 camaro with a 350 it is my current project my neighbor has a 89 RS that has the stock ground effects kit on it he is dontating any parts that i want of of it ( he is turning it into a circle track car ) i want to put the stock RS ground effects kit on my 87 plain body would i have to make major modifications or would it be an easy bolt on.... Also i am gettin really annoyed with my car if i want to launch it it takes off perfectly in 1st but as soon as i shift it into second i loose power and the other guy gains distance on me and the same thing happens when i am on the freeway and im in 5th gear and i want to play so i down shift to 4th the same thing happens i loos power and my motor starts acting funny i would appreciate any advice thanks guys

 

yea the body parts will fit, but youll need to take the front and rear bumper to make everything look right

 

sounds like your tranny is warn out. and gears are to far apart. tear the tranny out and get it looked at/ rebuilt
