Barrett-Jackson
So I was watching the barrett-jackson auctions last night, and they had a white84 Z28, with 6 original miles....[sm=insomnia.gif] They said that it had been sitting in a dealership for the last 28 years, and no one ever bought it...Until last night, sold$27,500 I just in shock at the fact it only had6 miles on it.
Anyways here is the link, you gotta type in 1984 camaro and stuff, but it's there.

Description
Cordia Chevrolet of Clymer, New York, ordered this highly optioned Z28 Camaro 28 years ago with plans of the owner to do performance modifications to the car to his personal taste. The car was checked in and serviced by the dealer and parked waiting for commencement of the planned project which never actually happened. The car sits today with 6 original miles as a brand new, never sold car with the original Window Sticker still affixed to the door glass. Perfectly preserved in heated indoor storage and totally documented as to its authenticity, this has to be the last new Z28 Camaro of this vintage left on the planet. This car was special ordered with the highest performance drivetrain available in 1984, that being the 5.0 Liter high output V8 with 5-speed manual transmission and 4-wheel disc brakes. A long list of other comfort and convenience options make this a very expensive Camaro from 1984. Beautiful factory original paint and striping are complimented with the one-year-only optional interior of red/orange custom cloth in a Z28-specific pattern. Rarely does the opportunity come along to be ahead of the curve and acquire a brand new example of a collector car just coming into its appreciable years and here we have just that automobile.

RE: Barrett-Jackson
I saw a 1le z28 sell on a auction for 49,000 $. after that, every yahoo who thought they had a real 1le, wanted 20 to 30 grand for a car with less then 80k miles on it. those auctions are good for the selller but a real pain for anyone trying to buy.

RE: Barrett-Jackson
that's a nice looking car. Is it yours? Mine will look sweet one day...lol. Right now, it's just got the 305 to 350 swap. That's how I got it. But I'm thinking about re-enlisting and using the my bonus to put a LS7 into it...That would be sweet, if I were to do it, but I'd have to get a new tranny, and upgrade the suspension and everything else as well.
