Default ATTN!!!!! 350RS PLEASE READ

About that forum that you posted asking if it was possible to make a 350 to a 396, i have good news for you, not many people know, but i was talking to a machinest in my local areaand he said that it is possible to bore it out to a 396 with the cylinder walls being of the same diameter but it obviously won't be a big block like every other 396 out there, i had plans on doing that to my small block was it was justa little bit more than i could afford at the time, but i was told that it is deffinetly possible.

With a .060 over and a 400 crank turned to fit into the 350you will get 388 ci. You want anything bigger you have to go with 400 block or a bow tie block with siamesed cylinders. You can make a 4.150 bore with those. Cylinder walls are too thin to go over .60 in a production block

What is a siamese twin?
The cylinders are connected where there are no water jackets between them. It allows them to be thicker so they can be bored bigger.
