Hi I'm new here. I recently bought a 1983 camaro rally v6. It has 215/70/14 on the front and 225/70/14 on the back, but the door says 195/70/14 I just want to make sure its the right size before i buy new tires. Thanks

 

Are the rims original? If things are still "factory", your speedometer is calibrated to use the size(s) that are on the door. Using taller or shorter tires will lead to the wrong speed being displayed.

I'd go with what's on the door.

 

I'm pretty sure they are they're white with black line around the holes in the rim with centercaps that say rally they match the paint on the car and look just as old. Another ? is are all four tires supposed to be the same size? cuz i know some of these cars use different tires in the front than in the back

 

Yes, from the factory all four tires should be the same size.

Stock tire sizes for 1983 Sport Coupe was 195/75/R14 or 205/70/R14 blackwall or white stripe. One size on all four wheels.
