im thinkin new headers.. a gut/bore, new heads, new cam shaft, and a supercharger.... another other suggestions?

also where can i get the front lip for a camaro?

 

Well unless you have deep pockets forget about the last four and go with the the Headers and add a 3" catback exhaust would be a start.

 

try getting some performance fuel injectors to go along with what blackz87said, if you have the money a new cam would be a major increase in hp, but beware 'cause if the headers arn't a good combination with the new cam, you will more than likely lose some hp

 

Performance Fuel Injectors???? Stock is 22# and you could go to 24# ones but it would be overkill on a stock engine & ECM Prom

 

my bad, i thought you wanted to totally change the stock engine along with the prom and make a weekend only car for the strip, well if you go with the daily driver route you can of course keep your entire stock fuel system and just tune the engine according to the cam you put. keep us posted on how your iroc is coming out.


does the 87 iroc put out alot of power bone stock?? i'm thinking of buying a thrashed up yet running iroc around the some year so i can rebuild the engine and put in all components needed for a v-8 swap into my 89 RS

 

Hmm thanks guys... the IROC is comming along fine now... thinking about just dropping in a new 350 engine but yeah, my only prob is i went out with some friends and forgot my key in the ignition... so i was out 4 days and my battery died, i jumped it and got it goin... workin fine but the computer has to relearn everything as you all know. So now my idle is acting kinda funny but it should be fine in about 3-4 trips of driving, anyway

exhaust, i need all new exhaust... it's basically gone and part of it is hung up by a clothes hanger, haha...

I can't wait to get some pics of it up, anyway.

all i know is it's a pain in the *** when ur not as experienced as u could be with fixing cars... i just wish my car was mint and i drove it around... im having a problem now with the windows... they won't go up ever cept when i take the relay out and let it cool down... any1 know what the prob is there? they go up and down it works just the relay get's burning hot... lotta power running thru there...
