Default alternator, AUDIO questions

hi i have a regular 1984 camaro V6 no power window A\C ect, what i plan on doing is getting a nice amp and some big subs and installing the big 3 to the battery getting a higher voltage alternator, what i would like to know is what would be the highest alternator i could buy for this vehicle? If i put one in would higher voltage affect the original wires on the vehicule? any past experiences tips or tricks would be very useful, i'd also like to know different opinions on installing a second battery

thanks,

You can get 100 amp alt at auto parts store. Won't affect rest of car, audio stuff should all be wired direct to bat with fuses and relays

Get a 140 amp Alternator like the one used on Public service cars.
