hey wats up i have a 1986 camaro z28 and i wanna build up the motor alil bit it has the 350 tpi motor in it and i was wonderin if the lt4 heads wud fit on it wit no mods and wats the best kind of cam out there i wanna build a motor for all low end power and does anyone have any interior parts or any parts at all that they wanna sell and does anyone have any t-tops out there that they wud sell cheap because a tree went thru one of my t-tops

 

im not sure about the lt4 heads, but a comp cam 350/350 would be a good cam for a 350, thats what my dad runs in his corvette (350)

 

well i no the lt4 heads wont fit now i asked that on another forum but my buddy jay told me that the 350 tpi is pretty much an lt1 or is an lt1..now im kinda confused on this so wud someone help me out

The LT1/LT4 heads use reverse cooling and some of the water passages do not line up with those of a regular small block causing coooling problems. You will be better off with a set of Vortec heads P/N 12558060, if you want to use GM parts, which fit the regular small block and make as much power as LT4 heads. You will need a manifold made to fit the Vortec heads.
