ok well i was putin my new pioneer hu in my 89 camaro. i bought the harness. hooked all the wires up and everything. andd no power the hu wont turn on. any ideas?

EDIT: ok so i checked fuses and everything. still nothing. so i pluged in my original hu and the speakers poped like they turned on and you could hear a faint white noise but no light or anyting on the hu. so idk its like its not getin enough power??
anyone know what the problem is?

 

my 91 did the same thing and i had to out in a new ground wire

 

cool thanks lol. ill try that when i get it back. the fuel pump went out so its getin that replaced right now

 

yea luckily the fuel pump was done before i bought my car

 

lol yeah i have 3 extra 89 camaros i used for parts and my step dad owns an autoshop so im good

 

lucky you i live in new york and its hard to find parts for them
