Adjusting Trunk lid motor

I am seeking information of adjusting the Trunk Lide motor/hydrolic devinc on my 1989 Camaro RS. It does not pull the trunk lid down securely. Any ideas short of replacing the mechanics.?

probably the easiest way is to just change it, its 3 bolts and 1 plug.
